To serve downtown Winnipeg with high-quality dental services, creating an unrivalled dental experience for each patient.
To develop the standard for modern dental care. To be the leader in preventive oral health. To make dentistry accessible to all.
—Dr. Todd Honcharik
Born, raised, and educated in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Dr. Todd obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Manitoba in 2014 after completing his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg. As a proud Winnipegger and community leader, it was important for Dr. Todd to serve the downtown area and contribute to the community’s livelihood. In 2018, Dr. Todd purchased Dr. Wayne Bohn Dental located in the heart of downtown and rebranded it Today Dental to reflect the new technology and services the practice offers.
Dr. Todd is a passionate dentist always looking to offer more to his patients and grow professionally. He expands his clinical knowledge through continuing education groups like the Spear Study Club and the Tucker Academy Gold Study Club. He has a special interest in advanced treatment planning and cosmetic dentistry but performs all areas of general dentistry. When required, he brings in his network of young and highly educated specialists to ensure successful outcomes on unique cases.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Todd spends his spare time with the love of his life, Cara, biking around the city, watching live music, and spending weekends on Lake Winnipeg or in the campground in Pinawa. Although his skills lack in the kitchen, he can craft a mean cocktail and fry up a tasty grilled cheese sandwich!
—Dr. Wayne Bohn
After practicing pharmacy at the Health Sciences Centre for several years, Wayne Bohn returned to the University of Manitoba and graduated from the faculty of dentistry in 1981. In 1988, he established his own practice in the Power Building, always having enjoyed the vitality of downtown.
Although loving the technical aspects and precision of practicing dentistry, his real passion is interacting with his patients, and his ability to put people at ease in what can otherwise be a stressful situation.
Over the years he has served on various dental boards and committees and, in 2017, was recognized as a lifetime member of the Winnipeg Dental Society and the Manitoba Dental Association.
When he is not doing dentistry, Dr. Bohn enjoys running, cycling, snowshoeing and spending summer weekends at the cottage on Lake Winnipeg. Growing up on a farm gave him a lifelong love of gardening and “growing things.” Another of his important roles is being “The Chief” to his two young granddaughters and special “Dad” to his French Bulldog “Louis.”
